the homework from the professor is; 

 Dear students, I am sending the poems for the final essays. Everyone should write an essay about Twain's prose poem, _The War Prayer. Please tell me what it is about and argue whether you agree with Twain or not...two pages, typed, double spaced or longer. Next choose two poems from the three and write two essays. In each essay, examine the poem and tell me what it is about. Also, tell me what you think the poet did well and what you don't like and why. At the end, tell me whether or not the poet succeeded in accomplishing their purpose in writing the poem. Each of these essays should be two typed pages or longer. We will discuss this assignment in class, but for now...at least, you have the poems and can get started on the essays. Thanks
