There has long been a debate about what causes criminality. The best response is that it is a combination of Biology, Psychology, and Sociology. However, your task is to argue that one of these three is more important than the other two. You will need to identify three areas under your chosen field as being important to explaining criminality (e.g. if you chose ___logy you would need to identify the three most important aspects of ___ology that explain criminality). This is a personal decision, so you may include why you chose the field and its areas and any personal relevance.

You need to reference at least one peer reviewed journal article (if you are unsure whether yours qualifies, please ask) for each area (3 minimum total). The article must be independent of any readings assigned (i.e. you found it on your own and not from the reading). The papers can relate to crime in general, violence, aggression, or any other related aspect to serial killing. All sources must be a journal reference from a refereed academic journal (i.e. Justice Quarterly, Law and Human Behavior, Criminology, Psychology, Crime and Law, etc.). You cannot use materials provided. Any use of Wikipedia, or web resources of its kind, is an automatic F. You need to find RESEARCH and simply using Google does not count as research! Your writing must conform to APA citation standards, and you must include APA title page and references at the end of your argument. The title page and references do not count toward the word count and please keep quotations to a minimum.
