• Prepare a 12-15 slide presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint. In your presentation Explain how families affect the development of infants and young children. Also be sure to include the following:

• Discuss the different parenting styles.

• Evaluate different parenting styles and their influence on development during infancy and early childhood. Include which parenting style you feel is most effective and why.

• Discuss early childhood education and its influence on cognitive development.

• You will want to put your main points in the slide and then use the speaker notes to put the majority of the information you would have said in a traditional presentation to a class.
