Work 1: Read pages 3-12; write the four summaries that start on page 7.

In our Text and Contexts book, read pages 3-12 from Chapter 1: "The Writing Process." Starting on page 7, you will see where it says "Exercise," and on this and the following pages, the book asks you to summarize three paragraphs. Then there is one more on page 11. You need to submit your four summaries to me. Don't worry about, as it says in the textbook, "the general statements," or the "specific statements." I'm looking for the summaries only.
