Specifications for the Term Paper (worth 70 points in the writing grade category.)
The term paper should be on some topic that requires you to use physical concepts discussed in this
course to explain. Pick a device or something you have observed that you wish to explain. The
physical principles involved should be the focus of your paper (minimal information on history,
clinical indicators, etc). Your intended audience is another student in this course.
The body of the term paper should be between two and three typed, double-spaced pages (1" margins,
12 point type). Number the pages. In addition, there must be a cover page, and a bibliography page
with at least three sources. One source must be a journal or magazine article. Indicate this source in
your bibliographic listing.
You may use either APA or MLA style guidelines. Here is a reference for APA style
