In today’s technology-driven society where it is not uncommon to see a baby or toddler using an iPad, many early childhood experts agree that certain kinds of technology are not developmentally appropriate for children under the age of 3.

 

 

 

Describe the effect of technology on infant/toddler cognitive and social-emotional development.

 

Identify two to three appropriate ways to utilize technology with young children and two to three inappropriate ways.
