Take home quiz

Quiz #12 consists of two take-home essay questions.  This test is due Friday 04/21/2017 no later than the start of class.  Each response must be a minimum of 450 words.  You will be graded on the correctness and thoughtfulness of your response plus the length, grammar, spelling and form of the response.  Your responses must be typed in Times New Roman 12 point font and have 1 inch margins all around.  You must submit responses electronically on Canvas no later than the date and time noted above.  The responses can be submitted as one document or two.

Question #1 –

          Explain why some experts recommend a problem-solving approach to violence prevention.  Your answer should include a discussion of a problem-solving approach to violence prevention and why some experts recommend this approach to prevent violence.

Question #2 –

          Discuss any instances of hate crimes in your home community or your home state. Does your state have mandatory reporting laws for hate crimes?  Your answer should include a discussion of hate crimes in your home community and your home state’s laws for reporting hate crimes.
