5. Due to budget cuts, there are no funds for a wellness program the hospital was implementing for the county.
6. The skill and commitment of the clinical staff is the most valuable asset. The staff is 80% white and 68% female.
7. A cluster of food processing units is coming up in nearby farming areas. Many Hispanic families have moved into these areas to take the jobs in these new units.
8. A sports club has approached the hospital for an arrangement under which club members will use the hospital’s nutrition and physical therapy services.
9. It has received a grant to modify the reception area and install special elevators to accommodate the needs of the disabled.
