The BUS 411 Business Policy Seminar Case Study

 This is the primary assignment for the course. In this assignment, your work will be done in a pre-assigned group simulating the remote collaboration environment of many business projects. 

The case itself is based on actual events. These events and the people involved were the basis for scenario and the development of the characters involved. These events and reactions have been much more often presented in the realm of Business Ethics and a little research will confirm that (if you want to go that far...not required but you may find it interesting).

1. Since Family Fabrics Corp is not a real business, please research & discuss SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats) for Malden Mills. Company history, what the company did well, what struggles they faced, any awards they have won (if any), innovations they have created, standards they set, records they may have broken, regulations they were required to adhere to, competitors like Polartec, pricing of materials, cost of doing business in USA vs overseas, labor relations, etc.
