Give them your impression of how America’s working people defended themselves back then from the vast power of oligarchic corporations. How did ordinary people cope with the radical, disruptive changes in just about everything they had grown to trust.
Then say what you see in their future. Given that the distance between the income of the top 1% and the rest of American society is expanding during this strident period of economic,technological, and climatic disruption, what social and political consequences await these young people? How should they adjust their mindset to find fulfillment?
