Summary

This first deliverable is an individual task.

Each member in the group has to submit an “Executive Summary” of the project description available in the file “LostRiverWindRiders.pdf” in Moodle. The Executive Summary is just one part of the Systems Proposal document. You can read Page 89 (1^st paragraph) to know more about Executive Summary.

Simply put, you must state the following

-          The background of the company to which you have been assigned as an analyst

-          The current scenario (such as major processes)

-          Challenges/changes to be done to the present scenario (based on what is stated in the project description)

-          Who are the various individuals (stakeholders) likely to be affected by the change

Reading the executive summary should make it clear that you have understood the project well.

The expected length of the Executive Summary is about 1 page.

This deliverable is worth 5 % of the course grade.

No further clarification/explanation will be offered. Think of yourself as the consultant hired to help the firm and do the exercise.
