You are the new manager of the manufacturing department of ABC Shoe Company. You are creating a project to manufacture a new type of shoe that is beneficial to runners. Your boss has asked you to explain the importance of strategic capacity planning and to provide an outline of one approach to the business design strategy using methods for schedule productionto ensure successful completion of the project.

Create a PowerPoint presentation for a meeting to introduce the business design strategy for this project. Your content should include the following:

• What is strategic Capacity Planning?
• The importance of using strategic capacity planning in the manufacturing of the new running shoe
• An explanation of the benefits of using the business design strategy in the manufacturing of the new running shoe
• An explanation of how you will create a design for manufacturing these shoes using one approach to the business design strategy
