download the attachment file and you will find the question. complete question 5.4.9 and 5.4.10 and you have to use the table ( which is attached as well in the file) to complete the questions. you can use this instruction to help you understand:
5.4.9 (a):
It gives us the critical value of F (.1, 9, 10). So you'll go to 791
(notice it says alpha = 0.1, so this matches the probability we were
given). Then find 9 in the top row of the table, and 10 down the side of
the table (these are your degrees of freedom). Then find where that column
and row intersect, and it should give you 2.35

5.4.10 (d)
This is just opposite of the previous one. Now we know that we're looking
for the area under the curve to the right of 2.35. So you'll need to check
all 3 pages in the table (finding 5 and 33 in the top and side of the
table) and see if the the values you get are close to 2.35. In this case,
we get 2.05 from the first table (alpha = 0.1) and 2.53 from the second
table (alpha = 0.05). So P(X >= 2.35) is between 0.05 and 0.1
