Space/Place and film

Submit a five page research paper on the meaning of the spaces in Japanese films. Drawing on the data you collected, your paper should try to answer ALL of the following questions:

1. How does film give places meanings?

2. How do films use the meanings of places?

3. How did you finding and identify places depicted in the films? What was your process and what were your sources? 

4. How did you research the meanings of those places outside of the films?  What was your process for finding information and what were your sources?
