Software Engineering Fundamentals! ! 2014 Semester 1 -Major Assignment! ISYS-1118 Undergraduates Assignment! !Assignment Objective and Structure This assignment is designed to allow students to demonstrate their ability to apply the common UML diagrams covered in weeks 3 -8. This assignment is part group and part individual. You must work in a group of 3 and it is your responsibility to find others from the tutorial you attend to form a group. All students should form a group and commence work as soon as possible. !Part 1 is group work and the use cases should be defined first, followed by a draft class diagram. You will find that you need to co-ordinate your individual designs from part 2 and feed them back into part 1 to refine the class diagram. There must be only one class diagram for the whole group and each section in part 2 must be consistent with it. ! There are three sections in part 2. All three sections must be done. Each member must do one section each as individual work. Each member will be marked separately for part 2. !Assessment Value 30% of your final mark will come from this assignment: • 1st Feedback Session (Weeks 8 and 9) : 5% • 2nd Feedback Session (Weeks 10 and 11) : 5% • Final Submission (Hardcopy printout) • Part 1 (group) : 5% • Part 2 : 10% • Part 2a (person A’s work) • Part 2b (person B’s work) • Part 2c (person C’s work) • Part 3 (group) : 5% !Assignment Discussion groups Ensure you select the relevant discussion group when asking questions. !Assignment – General.
