Sociology paper #1

I need three pages please about how nowadays people choose prolong life for their beloved ones who are sick. They don't think what quality life their patients are having while they are sick as much as they are thinking how to extend their lives without even asking what the patient wants and what is his/her decision. Its sad that doctors and the rest of the patient's family or friends are taking the decision on his/her behalf.
