Sociology of developing countries

Based on the lecture and Webtext materials, and outside research on a developing country of your choice address the following:

1.  Describe your understanding of the north / south divide as it relates to the health of populations in developing counties.

2. Choose a developing country and research the state of health care and health care system in that country

3. Based on your understanding of the facts, offer us your theory concerning how — aside from building more clinics — the leadership in your specific developing country can improve their health care systems and, as a consequence, the health of the population.
