Social Worker question due in 30 minutes

profilecarolinaskies

Phineas Gage was a young railroad worker who was injured when an iron tamping rod was accidentally propelled up through his left cheek and out of the top of his skull. Amazingly, he was able to sit up and speak immediately after the accident, but there was massive damage to his frontal lobes. Although this damage did not interfere with his memory or physical abilities, it did leave him a profoundly changed person. His personality became radically different; this formerly responsible, hardworking, and respectable person became aggressive, verbally abusive, and unpredictable. He ended up losing his job and leaving his family.

If you were a social worker assigned to his family, what types of services might you offer them?
