Social Work Family Theory Paper Need Help

Family Theory/Model Paper.

 Select a practice theory or model that can be used in practice with families (this can be one we covered in class or one in which you have a particular interest that was not covered in class). The theory or model may have been originally developed for practice with individuals, but is currently also being used for practice with families, or the theory/model could have been developed initially for work with families. Use the guidelines below to structure the paper. The paper should be 10 pages , double-spaced, APA style.

1. Describe the historical origins of the theory or model. (already done)

2. Describe the major tenets, including the paradigm (or larger ideology or value system) with which it may be identified (for example, its assumptions about the nature of human behavior, the causes or contributors to problem functioning, the nature of change, etc.).  (2page)

3. The intervention skills and techniques that are associated. (2pages)

4. The empirical base and methods to evaluate client/family change (i.e., what research has been conducted). (2pages)

5. The client populations most likely to respond best to work using this theory or model and precautions against using this theory with certain client populations. (1page)
