Questions for written assignment on Sartre Book: Anti-Semite and Jew.                            Five to six pages. Due Monday February 27.

Question 1.  Describe the four types of people that Sartre illustrates in                           Anti-Semite and Jew:  The Anti-Semite, The Democrat, The Inauthentic Jew,                      and the Authentic Jew.  Why did the Democrat not really assist the Jew and why did the Inauthentic Jew harm his or her own situation?  

Question 2. Use the Sartre book to discuss and explain why today, France and the rest of Europe have such difficulty integrating into their society people (immigrants) other than their core ethnic group.
