  As discussed in class yesterday I would like to clarify and offer ideas for your first paper due on or before Tuesday October 18 2016.

    A minimum of 800 words (3 printed pages) is required for each paper.  The first paper topic is an issue/problem/history directly related to the United States economy.

    The goal of this assignment is to gain insight into the macroeconomic functioning of our economy and how it effects society.  I briefly reviewed some ideas in class yesterday while informing you of my flexibility in topic choice.  If you have any doubts about your topic's suitability please see me either before with your idea.  

    I look forward to seeing your ideas and ultimately your final papers!
