Capacity planning has become an important strategic variable for many companies. Capacity related decisions could either enhance or worsen competitiveness over the long term. Describe the specific objectives of capacity planning and how it best supports a company’s competitive strategy. Since we have been using a number of computer based models in our class this term, I would like you to put together an example with some sample data to demonstrate the concepts you have discussed and include this model with your submission.
