Education Program Research

As a health educator, you will be required to prepare training on various topics geared towards specific audiences. In this project you will research educational material on the topic you selected for your Final Project.

Unit 7 Project.

Based on the topic you selected in Unit 1, conduct a review of the literature. Research the essentials of the specific disease or condition including: prevalence, statistics, at-risk populations, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, interventions, and at least three current education program examples.

Specifically, you will research educational materials which will be applicable to your Final Project. Insure that the materials selected will be appropriate for your venue and your audience. View at least three websites pertinent to your selected disease or condition; discuss the various types of resources found (written, video, audio, posters, pamphlets) and include examples of the types you plan to utilize in your training session.

Prepare a 3-5 page paper based on the above requirements (not including title page and reference page) and list at least three scholarly references. Wikipedia is not an acceptable reference.

Your assignment should follow APA guidelines, and should include a title page and three references.
