Primary Task Response: Within the Discussion Board area, write 400–600 words that respond to the following questions with your thoughts, ideas, and comments. This will be the foundation for future discussions by your classmates. Be substantive and clear, and use examples to reinforce your ideas.

As a member of Silver Creek Hospital's Ethics Committee, you have been asked by chief executive officer (CEO) Beranger to provide examples of 2 ethical issues or dilemmas that the committee may help physicians, patients, or family members resolve. Additionally, CEO Beranger asked that you conduct research on any organization (e.g., American Medical Association [AMA], the Joint Commission [TJC]) that accredits health care organizations or provides ethical guidance to the health care professional and discuss how that organization might influence the ethics practices of the hospital or health care professional.
