In the role of a therapist, create a short vignette in which you describe a client with one of the following disorders: panic disorder, agoraphobia, generalized anxiety disorder, social phobia, specific phobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, or separation anxiety disorder.

Without providing the client’s diagnosis, include the information needed in order for your classmates to diagnose your client. For the remainder of the week, monitor your discussion thread, answering any questions that your classmates may have about your client.

In the role of an observer, select the responses of two classmates. Diagnose each classmate’s vignette and provide the reasons and/or criteria for making your decisions. Lastly, make a treatment recommendation for each of the clients.
