Role of DNA Analysis in Criminal Forensics

Question: How has our knowledge of DNA improved the study of criminal forensics?
The criteria for the report are as follows. 
1.A minimum of three (3) pages (excluding tables, figures, and bibliography, etc.). The text component of the paper should not exceed five (5) pages. Do not select a topic that is too broad to cover in three pages.
2.No fewer than five references are to be cited.
3.Line spacing must be double.
4.Font size must not exceed 12 point and must be Courier, Arial (or equivalent), Verdana, or Times New Roman; Arial is preferred.
