Rock-n-roll Show-n-tell

The goal of this activity is to see how questions about communication and citizenship are interlaced with popular culture and everyday life. Each student will give a presentation (May 3rd or 5th) to the class (3-4 minutes) that both showcases a rock-n-roll song (or any genre of song), and connects the song with ideas related to communication and citizenship. 

Presentation should be 3-4 minutes (including playing at least one (1) minute of your song) -In your presentation, please include:

1. Some background information on your song (year of release, artist, a brief summary of what it is about, and any information that might help the audience put the song in context).
2. Tell us what reading(s) your song relates to.
