A few instructions on the word count of the Research Proposal. The annotated bibliography is becoming long in many of your Research Proposals that I have seen. This is not a problem. However, what I suggest is that you only count the 'annotated' bit of the bibliography in your word count. You should not count the actual reference. See the example below:

Smith, D (2013), Globalisation, Oxford: Oxford University Press... (don't include this bit in your word count)

This book seeks to describe the main ideas and theories in globalisation studies. Its usefulness is that provides a reference point for determining the key ideas in globalisation. (this should be included in your word count).
