After reading and going through both proposals from Merant as well as Inqeniux and using the REP model to evaluate both of them, I personally see that Merant proposal is much suitable for EWU requirements in this regard for several reasons. Merant has a high standard of flexibility in regard making any adjustments frequently when necessary which might help on regard other aspects. Also, Merant has the willingness to reach a higher standard when it comes to providing security and protection by providing the needed software products and services, by emphasizing newer industry standards for web development and tools for editing. Further, Merant has the upper hand comparing to Inqeniux when its related to which one can provide a higher flexibility in management and portal features. Lastly, according to the evaluation that was made in the first step of this homework, its clearly indicates that Merant also have the upper hand when it comes to both the ability to role-based views as well as when it comes to integration and compatibility with industry standards web development/edit tools. This was a brief summary on why I had chosen Merant over Inqeniux to be the winning proposal
