For your final paper, you will be reading and reviewing Ta-Nehisi Coates' book, Between the World and Me. It is important to note that by “review” I do not mean simply “summary” of the story (stories) contained within. A scholarly review is a serious engagement with the ideas that make the book worth reading, and in this case, the ideas that make this book such an important statement on blackness in our contemporary moment.
