One of the best ways to reach diverse learners in your classroom is to let them know you care. One way to let them know you care is by giving them time to express themselves. This can be done through group conversations, projects, or helping with extra fun tasks in the classroom. I like to have a share time where students can bring items from home. These items tells us something about them or their family. Most students love to talk about themselves and the share project is a good way to accomplish that goal.
