Research on Role of government in social entrepreneurship

Research the topic: “The Role of Government in Social Entrepreneurship”. Do a literature search and come up with main points of the recent articles on the role of government in social entrepreneurship? You may look at the reports from the United Nations (especially the “Millennium developed Goals”, the “World Bank”, and also the references in the textbooks used in the class. Is there a role for the government? If so what it is. Some governments in some countries like India, mandate that companies should spend a small portion of their profits on social projects – called “Corporate Social Responsibility”. After reading the literature, come up with your own ideas and recommendations for the governments to follow in promoting social entrepreneurship to alleviated poverty.
