Research Proposal

The Professional Urologists Group, a client of the marketing research firm where you work, contacted your organization regarding its interest in determining the level of patient satisfaction on the services that its physicians provide. You are assigned the task of developing a research proposal for this prospective client. After you create your own fictitious research firm, use the Internet and Strayer databases to research similar medical groups and situations.

Note: You may create and/or make all necessary assumptions needed for the completion of this assignment.

four to six (4-6) page paper:

1. Describe the characteristics of your research firm including the types of personnel, past research projects, and available company assets for use in marketing research.
2. Propose the cost and effectiveness your client should expect by using your research firm in order to provide their desired result based on your research.
3. Suggest at least two (2) value-added benefits the client should expect if your research firm is chosen for the requested research study. Justify your response.
4. Formulate at least two (2) research objectives that focus on customer satisfaction with making appointments, time spent in waiting area, and quality of medical treatment received.
5. Suggest at least two (2) competitive advantages that you believe similar medical groups have in similar situations. Justify your response.
6. Use at least three (3) quality resources in this assignment. Note: Wikipedia and similar Websites do not qualify as quality resources.

Assignment must follow these formatting requirements:

• Be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides: citations and references must follow APA or school-specific format. Check with your professor for any additional instructions.
• Include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student’s name, the professor’s name, the course title, and the date. The cover page and the reference page are not included in the required assignment page length.
