A database management system (DBMS) is a system software for creating and managing databases. The DBMS makes it possible for end users to create, retrieve, update, and manage data in a database. One of the important things that the DBMS manages is the database schema which defines the database’s logical structure. The DBMS serves as an interface between the database and the application programs (Rouse, n.d.). The DBMS fits into the Analysis Design Stage. The DBMS fits into this area because it has to be design. Well define and understood user requirements are vital to ensure that the final system does what the user intended for it to do. The database objects have to be define. A Data Flow Diagram is design to explain how data is processed and transferred in the DBMS. This topic will make a viable research topic because it has to be analyze and design to do what the end user intended. A DBMS should provide for the efficient storage, update and retrieval of data. A DBMS should be reliable. The stored data should have high integrity to promote user trust in the data. A database should be adaptable and scalable to new and unforeseen requirements and applications. A database should support the business requirements of the information system (Anon., n.d.). A reliable multiuser DBMS with good authentication, authorization, security, backup, and monitoring functionality can serve as a strong foundation for the ERP system (Motiwalla & Thompsom, 2012).

This paper is over a week late, there are a number of grammar issues (for example the word design should be designed, the word analyze should be analyzed).

Your topic is very generalized and I don't see mention of third normal form which is very important in database design.

Finally, you cite two sources which is good, however you don't have a reference section with full citation.

You will need to make a concentrated effort on the paper to get a good grade on it, so do be sure to work at it.
