Research paper

Each student will submit a research paper based on one of the weekly journal article topics.  The paper will be five to seven pages consisting of 5-7 academic references.  Neither textbooks nor Wikipedia can be used as references. The cover page, abstract, and reference page does not constitute part of the five to seven page paper.  The paper will follow APA format in a number 12 font, and will be due midnight Tuesday  .     This is the journal article about non verbal communication submitted previously .                         Lesson 4 Journal Article Assignment

Here I have taken an article which tells about the non-verbal communication in the work place. Here mainly communication skills are very important to convey our message to others. And also the presentation skills are also very useful. In  the non-verbal communication some of the factors are involved those are the way we walk, the distance we maintain from other person, the way we stand, the eye contact and the way we fold our arms. These all factors will involve in the non-verbal communication. In this non-verbal communication there are mainly four factors will be considered those are kinesics, proxemics, paralanguage and chronemics these are main four factors will help to the leaders to identify the non-verbal skills of the members of an organization. Let’s we will discuss about these four factor the first one is kinesics in this factor mainly body movements will be included like eye contact, body movements, height, weight, skin color and body shape will be considered. 

In this kinesics the first one is eye contact will show our way of communicate with others and the body movement is the main thing when we talking with an official person we need to maintain the body movement. And then body weight, height and skin color will also show a major effect in non-verbal communication. Then the second factor is proxemics in this it willmainly shows the way how you use the space around you. The way you maintain the distance to others and the way of sitting arrangement is also the main thing in this proxemics the seating arrangement is depend on the purpose you communicate with other people. And the other one is the official persons will seat beside you this is the way you respect them to communicate well. The next important thing is paralanguage in this mainly the voice clarity, the pitch of the voice, the voice volume, speech rate and communicate confidence will be involved in this. The way you speech will show an effective impact on our speech. And we need to maintain the voice clarity and pitch of the voice these are also major things in paralanguage. The next one is chronemics is tells about the usage of the time   here we need to maintain the time sense to convey our message to others. Waiting others will impact on our speech.

By reading this article the author will mainly explain about all the scenarios which involve in the non-verbal communication. By this non-verbal communication I can understand the way how to dress and the way how to maintain our body language and how to use the space and also the time sense. This article will help me more to improve myself to communicate with others efficiently to convey our message to them.
