Assignment 1: Research and Discussion—t-Tests

By Saturday, February 27, 2016, post one research question oriented to the industrial organizational (I/O) field that could be answered by each of the following types of statistical tests:

• t-test for independent samples
• t-test for dependent samples
• Pearson r

Present the rationale for your selection. Explain which sampling procedure you would use for each of your research questions. Include in your main post, at minimum, a complete paragraph for each of the statistical tests.

Review at least two of your classmates' responses, offering your thoughts on their research questions and sampling procedures and any recommendations you have to enhance the discourse.

Before the end of the module, make sure you respond to all classmates who responded to your initial question.
