Religion Paper

Scholars like Prothero and Portier told us that religious traditions provide people with ways

to approach life's deepest questions. Discuss this claim in relation to Christianity and then

one of the other religious traditions we covered in our course. In other words, tell me how

Christianity and then either Islam or Buddhism address some of life's big questions. Talk

about how they are similar and how they are different in the questions they explore and the

answers they provide. Conclude your paper with your own final thoughts on the role of life's

deep questions in the world's religious traditions.

Additional Requirements:

Must be between 700-900 words

Must make good use of at least 4 sources from our course

Must include some discussion of the Christian tradition’s approach to questions about race

Must bring a paper copy with you to the final exam period

Must submit an electronic copy via Isidore before the final exam period starts
