Regional Security Cooperation

The questions are:

1. Europe is arguably the birthplace of the international system in which regional security organizations operate. How are current regional tensions there paralleled in the operations or performance in the various regional security organizations we have studied?

2. The Western state system is a product of the interaction among Western style sovereign states. How does its continued success depend on the success/survival of (democratic) Western style states in the world?
