Reform Movements

The mid-nineteenth century was a time of great change in the young America and many reform movements began in reaction to these changes. People were active in seeking reforms for women, slaves, asylums, religion, schools, and society to name a few. Which of the movements do you think was the most successful and long-lasting and why?
