reading response 500 words

You know how sometimes minutes can feel like hours, and, at other times, whole years can pass in what feels like minutes? This week I'd like you to create a scene in which you slow down narrative time. Don't be afraid to try take a risk and try something different. You are not allowed to use alarm clocks or "waking up" as your scene.  I understand this an exercise so it may be exaggerated, but it should be based on a real experience.
