Directions

Write a well-developed paragraph starting with the topic sentence listed below.  

The purpose of the paragraph is to promote Valley’s Total Fitness from the stance of the sales staff of Valley’s Total Fitness.  Valley’s Total Fitness offers group exercise classes, strength training and cardio equipment, and personal training sessions.  It has an indoor swimming pool and outdoor jogging trails (you may make up additional facts).  Include several supporting sentences and a sum-up/transition sentence.  In addition, include a topic sentence for the next paragraph (e.g., on-site nutritionists, health food store, or cafe).  

Important: Do Not Use Exact Wording from the Directions.  For example, if a student were to include in the exercise – “Valley’s Total Fitness offers group exercise classes, strength training and cardio equipment, and personal training sessions.” – exactly as the information was given, it is plagiarism.  You may use those terms but in your own sentence structure and sequence.
