Mr. Ford is a long time big cargo truck driver.  His job involves some loading and unloading duties but mainly demands long hours sitting in the same position driving across the country for many hours at a time.  He owns his own truck and has devoted most of his resources toward his own self employment as a contract driver.  He has had chronic back pain for as long as he can remember, but lately he has had more frequent episodes where the pain has left him unable to drive or even get out of bed on some days.  What are the potential vocational implications of Mr. Ford's condition?  What interventions may assist in managing the condition?
