Read all the destructions very well

I hate to hear that first day of classes are cancelled for our course, Planting New Faith Communities.  The report listed on the syllabus is still due next week.

The book to read this week is The Mystic Way of Evangelism by Heath.  Elaine Heath is a dear friend and wonderful instigator of new ways of thinking and doing church in twenty-first century America.   I would like 3 pages of reflection, application and push-back.  I do not need more than one page of this to be review of content, but a little review of content keeps us accountable to a careful reading of the book.   You can’t summarize it all in a page, so think about the big themes and strategies that might be operative in her writing.  Spend more time talking about the content.  You do not need to agree with her to get a good grade
