1) Quite appropriately, we find ourselves discussing "benefits" and "costs" in regard to determining the utility of tests.  However, in terms of achieving balance between such costs and benefits, do economic benefits and costs outweigh noneconomic benefits and costs, or vice versa, and why do you think so?

2) What are your thoughts about data gather from a Likert scale, with regard to if such data would be discrete, continuous, both, or neither, and who and/or what informed your thoughts?

3) Based on your understanding about the two types of data (discrete and continuous), which type might use a graph like a histogram to display data, and which type might use a bar graph to display data, and how are you informed to think so?
