Question and Responding - 250 words

Earlier this week a major cyberattack hit Northrop Grumman, the lead defense contractor in the Air Force's new long-range bomber program. Most reports suggest that the attack originated from Russia. The President has decided that the U.S. must respond aggressively in order to retaliate and deter future attacks. 

Your task this week is to present to the President a plan of action. Your plan of Paction should include a recommendation on how to respond as well as 2-3 specific options for responding.

Each agency should consider carefully:

 (1) their role in developing the plan;

 (2) what capabilities are at their disposal;

 (3) how future attacks can be prevented;

 (4) establishing positive attribution and the risks of false identification;

Keep in mind, your agency could propose to not do anything. Each agency should lean on their prior analyses and proposals to develop an effective plan of action.
