Vocabulary Application Assignment
Directions: After reading a self-selected article, respond to the
following questions. Your responses must be typed. Be sure to include
your name, title of the class, my name, and the title of the
assignment. Your assignment will not be accepted if you fail to follow
all directions.

3. Highlight/Underline 5-8 unknown vocabulary words.(on the
article)
4. List the words, meanings, context clue used to define each word.
5. Use a dictionary to check your definitions. lf you were incorrect,
please make the corrections in this section. How close were your
definitions to the actual meanings? What does this tell you about
your reading comprehension?
6. Explain how the use of context clues assisted you with
interpreting the article.
