We live in a world filled with opportunities for connection, interaction and social comparison; the Internet allows us to be in constant contact with a limitless network of friends, family and acquaintances. Recently, psychologists have begun to debate the impact of this hyper-connectivity on our psychological well-being. In our discussion this week, we are going to explore the psychological impact of social networking sites (such as Facebook, SnapChat or Instagram). To begin, view the following videos:
