Care theory and virtue ethics clearly have much in common.  Because it is possible to characterize individuals as "caring", we might even consider treating "being caring" as a virtue.  For this reason, many virtue theorists think that care ethics can be derived directly from virtue theory.  But is this actually true?  Why or why not?"
