This week concentrates on integer programming, and specifically on the use of binary (0-1) decision variables.

For your blog this week, think of a real problem where this type of variable could be used, including constraints. For example, you could imagine having a dinner party for 6 people similar to the fun road trip in the slides. Or it could be selecting a team for an important project at work. Or it could be selecting a few of several sites in which to open branches of a store. Try to be as complete as you can, including constraints that would come up and how they could be explicitly modeled in the binary situation.
