This essay will be based on 2 chapters The Messiah and The Age of Reason. You will use the arguments found in the Age of Reason to either pusuade me to go with you to  the Ghost Dances in the Messiah or to stop me from attending them. These two chapters are to be your only sources. Write in your won words based on your knowledge and understanding of the two texts.

Pursuasuve  writing serves as a transition for students to develop more formal elements of academic writing: the thesis statement, topic sentences, organization, specific examples to support one’s thesis, etc.  The essay will be 3 – 4 pages, have a clear thesis, introduction, body and conclusion. Support your explanations with examples and quotes, using MLA format (for both format and citations).
